﴿قُلۡ مَا يَعۡبَؤُاْ بِكُمۡ رَبِّي لَوۡلَا دُعَآؤُكُمۡۖ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبۡتُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامَۢا ﴾
[الفُرقَان: 77]
﴿قل ما يعبأ بكم ربي لولا دعاؤكم فقد كذبتم فسوف يكون لزاما﴾ [الفُرقَان: 77]
Mohammad Habib Shakir Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come |
Mohammad Shafi Say, "Why would my Lord care for you, if you do not pray to and invoke Him? Verily then you have rejected the Truth. So soon shall the inevitable happen |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Say (O Muhammad, unto the disbelievers): My Lord would not concern Himself with you but for your prayer. But now ye have denied (the Truth), therefor there will be judgment |
Mufti Taqi Usmani Say (O Prophet), “My Lord will never care about you, if you will not invoke Him. Now since you rejected (the truth), the punishment will be inseparable from you.” |
Muhammad Asad SAY [unto those who believe]: “No weight or value would my Sustainer attach to you were it not for your faith [in Him]!” And say unto those who deny the truth:] “You have indeed given the lie [to God’s message], and in time this [sin] will cleave unto you!” |
Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali Say, (To the disbelievers)" In no way would my Lord care for you were it not for your invocation. Yet you have cried lies, so it (Punishment) will eventually be an imposition |
Muhammad Sarwar (Muhammad), say (to the disbeliever) "It does not matter to my Lord whether you worship Him or not. You have rejected His guidance and your punishment is inevitable |

N J Dawood Say: ‘Little cares my Lord if you do not invoke Him. Now that you have denied His revelations, His punishment is bound to overtake you.‘ |
Safi Kaskas Say [to unbelievers], "What would my Lord care for you if not for your prayers to Him?" But since you have denied the truth as lies, [punishment] will inevitably befall you |
