﴿وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيۡمَٰنَ عِلۡمٗاۖ وَقَالَا ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي فَضَّلَنَا عَلَىٰ كَثِيرٖ مِّنۡ عِبَادِهِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 15]
﴿ولقد آتينا داود وسليمان علما وقالا الحمد لله الذي فضلنا على كثير﴾ [النَّمل: 15]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And certainly We gave knowledge to Dawood and Sulaiman, and they both said: Praise be to Allah, Who has made us to excel many of His believing servants |
| Mohammad Shafi And We did grant knowledge to David and Solomon. And they both said, "Praise to Allah! HE has favoured us above many of His believing devotees |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And We verily gave knowledge unto David and Solomon, and they said: Praise be to Allah, Who hath preferred us above many of His believing slaves |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Surely We gave knowledge to Dāwūd and Sulaimān, and they said, “Praise belongs to Allah who made us excel many of His believing servants |
