Quran with British translation - Surah An-Naml ayat 68 - النَّمل - Page - Juz 20
﴿لَقَدۡ وُعِدۡنَا هَٰذَا نَحۡنُ وَءَابَآؤُنَا مِن قَبۡلُ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 68]
﴿لقد وعدنا هذا نحن وآباؤنا من قبل إن هذا إلا أساطير الأولين﴾ [النَّمل: 68]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients |
| Mohammad Shafi Verily, we were promised this — we and our forefathers — in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old |
