Quran with British translation - Surah Al-‘Ankabut ayat 24 - العَنكبُوت - Page - Juz 20
﴿فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوۡمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُواْ ٱقۡتُلُوهُ أَوۡ حَرِّقُوهُ فَأَنجَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 24]
﴿فما كان جواب قومه إلا أن قالوا اقتلوه أو حرقوه فأنجاه الله﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 24]
Mohammad Habib Shakir So naught was the answer of his people except that they said: Slay him or burn him; then Allah delivered him from the fire; most surely there are signs in this for a people who believe |
Mohammad Shafi The response of his (Abraham's) people then was naught but that they said, "Kill him, or put him into fire." Then Allah saved him from the fire. Therein indeed are signs for a people who believe |
