﴿ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَالُواْ لَن تَمَسَّنَا ٱلنَّارُ إِلَّآ أَيَّامٗا مَّعۡدُودَٰتٖۖ وَغَرَّهُمۡ فِي دِينِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفۡتَرُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 24]
﴿ذلك بأنهم قالوا لن تمسنا النار إلا أياما معدودات وغرهم في دينهم﴾ [آل عِمران: 24]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir This is because they say: The fire shall not touch us but for a few days; and what they have forged deceives them in the matter of their religion |
| Mohammad Shafi That is indeed because they say, "The Fire shall touch us not, but for a few days." And what they fabricated in their religion, deluded their own selves |
