Quran with British translation - Surah Ar-Rum ayat 55 - الرُّوم - Page - Juz 21
﴿وَيَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يُقۡسِمُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُواْ غَيۡرَ سَاعَةٖۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كَانُواْ يُؤۡفَكُونَ ﴾
[الرُّوم: 55]
﴿ويوم تقوم الساعة يقسم المجرمون ما لبثوا غير ساعة كذلك كانوا يؤفكون﴾ [الرُّوم: 55]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And at the time when the hour shall come, the guilty shall swear (that) they did not tarry but an hour; thus are they ever turned away |
Mohammad Shafi On the Day the Hour dawns, the criminals will swear they stayed not (in the earth) but an hour. Thus were they deluded |
