Quran with British translation - Surah As-saffat ayat 11 - الصَّافَات - Page - Juz 23
﴿فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَهُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَم مَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَآۚ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٖ لَّازِبِۭ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 11]
﴿فاستفتهم أهم أشد خلقا أم من خلقنا إنا خلقناهم من طين لازب﴾ [الصَّافَات: 11]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay |
| Mohammad Shafi Ask them then whether what they have created was more difficult or what We have created. We have indeed created them of clinging clay |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Now ask them, “Are they stronger in the formation of their bodies, or those (other beings) that We have created?” Certainly, We did create them from sticky clay |
| Muhammad Asad AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water |
