﴿فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡنَا قَوۡلُ رَبِّنَآۖ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 31]
﴿فحق علينا قول ربنا إنا لذائقون﴾ [الصَّافَات: 31]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir So the sentence of our Lord has come to pass against us: (now) we shall surely taste |
| Mohammad Shafi And the word of our Lord has come true over us: we do indeed have to taste it |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom) |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani So, the word of our Lord has come true against us. Indeed, we have to taste (the punishment) |
