Quran with British translation - Surah sad ayat 14 - صٓ - Page - Juz 23
﴿إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ ﴾
[صٓ: 14]
﴿إن كل إلا كذب الرسل فحق عقاب﴾ [صٓ: 14]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir There was none of them but called the apostles liars, so just was My retribution |
| Mohammad Shafi Not one among them but denied the Messengers. So they deserved My penalty |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Not one of them but did deny the messengers, therefor My doom was justified |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani All of them did nothing but declare the messengers as liars; hence, My punishment became due |
| Muhammad Asad not one [was there] but gave the lie to the apostles - and thereupon My retribution fell due |
