Quran with British translation - Surah Fussilat ayat 14 - فُصِّلَت - Page - Juz 24
﴿إِذۡ جَآءَتۡهُمُ ٱلرُّسُلُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ أَلَّا تَعۡبُدُوٓاْ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَۖ قَالُواْ لَوۡ شَآءَ رَبُّنَا لَأَنزَلَ مَلَٰٓئِكَةٗ فَإِنَّا بِمَآ أُرۡسِلۡتُم بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 14]
﴿إذ جاءتهم الرسل من بين أيديهم ومن خلفهم ألا تعبدوا إلا الله﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 14]
Mohammad Habib Shakir When their apostles came to them from before them and from behind them, saying, Serve nothing but Allah, they said: If our Lord had pleased He would certainly have sent down angels, so we are surely unbelievers in that with which you are sent |
Mohammad Shafi When the Messengers came to them or to those who lived before or after them asking them not to worship any one but Allah, they all said, "If our Lord had so pleased He would certainly have sent the angels down. So we do indeed reject what you are sent with |
