Quran with British translation - Surah Fussilat ayat 23 - فُصِّلَت - Page - Juz 24
﴿وَذَٰلِكُمۡ ظَنُّكُمُ ٱلَّذِي ظَنَنتُم بِرَبِّكُمۡ أَرۡدَىٰكُمۡ فَأَصۡبَحۡتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 23]
﴿وذلكم ظنكم الذي ظننتم بربكم أرداكم فأصبحتم من الخاسرين﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 23]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And that was your (evil) thought which you entertained about your Lord that has tumbled you down into perdition, so are you become of the lost ones |
| Mohammad Shafi It is this false notion you had of your Lord that ruined you, and you find yourselves among those doomed |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall That, your thought which ye did think about your Lord, hath ruined you; and ye find yourselves (this day) among the lost |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani This thought of yours that you conceived about your Lord brought you to ruin, and you became among the losers |
| Muhammad Asad and that very thought which you thought about your Sustainer has brought you to perdition, and so now you find yourselves among the lost!” |
