Quran with British translation - Surah Az-Zukhruf ayat 38 - الزُّخرُف - Page - Juz 25
﴿حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَنَا قَالَ يَٰلَيۡتَ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَكَ بُعۡدَ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡقَرِينُ ﴾
[الزُّخرُف: 38]
﴿حتى إذا جاءنا قال ياليت بيني وبينك بعد المشرقين فبئس القرين﴾ [الزُّخرُف: 38]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Until when he comes to Us, he says: O would that between me and you there were the distance of the East and the West; so evil is the associate |
| Mohammad Shafi Ultimately, when (such a one that turns away from Allah) comes to Us, he says (to the devil appointed as his companion), "Would that I and you were as far apart as the two Easts are!" And a wretched companion is that devil |
