Quran with British translation - Surah Az-Zukhruf ayat 8 - الزُّخرُف - Page - Juz 25
﴿فَأَهۡلَكۡنَآ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُم بَطۡشٗا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ ﴾
[الزُّخرُف: 8]
﴿فأهلكنا أشد منهم بطشا ومضى مثل الأولين﴾ [الزُّخرُف: 8]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Then We destroyed those who were stronger than these in prowess, and the case of the ancients has gone before |
| Mohammad Shafi And We destroyed those that were stronger in power than these. And gone were the likes of the ancient peoples |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Then We destroyed men mightier than these in prowess; and the example of the men of old hath gone (before them) |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani So We have destroyed those who were stronger than these (people of Makkah) in power, and the example of the earlier people has already passed |
