Quran with British translation - Surah Muhammad ayat 31 - مُحمد - Page - Juz 26
﴿وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُمۡ حَتَّىٰ نَعۡلَمَ ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ وَنَبۡلُوَاْ أَخۡبَارَكُمۡ ﴾
[مُحمد: 31]
﴿ولنبلونكم حتى نعلم المجاهدين منكم والصابرين ونبلوا أخباركم﴾ [مُحمد: 31]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And most certainly We will try you until We have known those among you who exert themselves hard, and the patient, and made your case manifest |
| Mohammad Shafi And We certainly shall try you all to distinguish those of you who strive hard in Our cause and are patient in adversity. And We shall put to test all your assertions |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And verily We shall try you till We know those of you who strive hard (for the cause of Allah) and the steadfast, and till We test your record |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani And We will certainly test you until We know those of you who carry out Jihād (struggle in Allah’s way) and observe patience, and until We check your episodes |
| Muhammad Asad and most certainly We shall try you all, so that We might mark out those of you who strive hard [in Our cause] and are patient in adversity: for We shall put to a test [the truth of] all your assertions |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali And indeed We will definitely try you until We know the ones of you who strive and the ones who are (steadfastly) patient and (we will) try your tidings (i.e., test your news to see who is a liar) |
| Muhammad Sarwar We shall certainly test you until We know those who strive hard for the cause of God and those who exercise patience. We will also examine your deeds |
| Muhammad Taqi Usmani And We will certainly test you until We know those of you who carry out Jihad (struggle in Allah‘s way) and observe patience, and until We check your episodes |

| N J Dawood We shall put you to the proof until We know the valiant and the resolute among you; and We will test all that is said about you |
| Safi Kaskas We will test you, until We know those who strive among you, and those who are patient, and We will test the sincerity of your assertions |
