﴿ذُوقُواْ فِتۡنَتَكُمۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ ﴾
[الذَّاريَات: 14]
﴿ذوقوا فتنتكم هذا الذي كنتم به تستعجلون﴾ [الذَّاريَات: 14]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on |
| Mohammad Shafi Taste the suffering you deserve! This is what you had sought to hasten |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (And it will be said unto them): Taste your torment (which ye inflicted). This is what ye sought to hasten |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani (and it will be said to them,) “Taste (the punishment of) your mischief. This is what you have been asking to be brought sooner.” |
| Muhammad Asad [and will be told:] “Taste this your trial! It is this that you were so hastily asking for!” |

| Mustafa Khattab Allah Edition ˹They will be told,˺ “Taste your torment! This is what you sought to hasten.” |
