﴿أَكُفَّارُكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أُوْلَٰٓئِكُمۡ أَمۡ لَكُم بَرَآءَةٞ فِي ٱلزُّبُرِ ﴾
[القَمَر: 43]
﴿أكفاركم خير من أولئكم أم لكم براءة في الزبر﴾ [القَمَر: 43]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures |
| Mohammad Shafi Are your Truth-suppressors better than those [mentioned above], or have you some immunity [decreed for them] in the Scriptures |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Are the disbelievers among you in a better position than all of the aforesaid (punished people), or do you have immunity (recorded) in the sacred books |
| Muhammad Asad ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali Are your steadfast disbelievers more charitable (3) than those ones? Or even do you have an acquittal (from torment) in the Zubur? (i.e., better) |
