Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Mujadilah ayat 17 - المُجَادلة - Page - Juz 28
﴿لَّن تُغۡنِيَ عَنۡهُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـًٔاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ﴾
[المُجَادلة: 17]
﴿لن تغني عنهم أموالهم ولا أولادهم من الله شيئا أولئك أصحاب النار﴾ [المُجَادلة: 17]
Mohammad Habib Shakir Neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them aught against Allah; they are the inmates of the fire, therein they shall abide |
Mohammad Shafi Neither their wealth nor their children will be of any avail to them against Allah. They are the ones to inhabit the Fire, therein to abide |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Their wealth and their children will avail them naught against Allah. Such are rightful owners of the Fire; they will abide therein |
Mufti Taqi Usmani Their riches and their children will never benefit them against Allah. They are the inmates of the Fire. They will live there forever |
Muhammad Asad Neither their worldly possessions nor their offspring will be of the least avail to them against God: it is they who are destined for the fire, therein to abide |
