Quran with British translation - Surah Al-An‘am ayat 27 - الأنعَام - Page - Juz 7
﴿وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ وُقِفُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ فَقَالُواْ يَٰلَيۡتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلَا نُكَذِّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 27]
﴿ولو ترى إذ وقفوا على النار فقالوا ياليتنا نرد ولا نكذب بآيات﴾ [الأنعَام: 27]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And could you see when they are made to stand before the fire, then they shall say: Would that we were sent back, and we would not reject the communications of our Lord and we would be of the believers |
| Mohammad Shafi And if you could but see the scene when they would be held over the fire! They would then say, "Would that we were sent back! We would not then reject the Verses/signs of our Lord and we would be of the believers |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall If thou couldst see when they are set before the Fire and say: Oh, would that we might return! Then would we not deny the revelations of our Lord but we would be of the believers |
