Quran with British translation - Surah Al-An‘am ayat 88 - الأنعَام - Page - Juz 7
﴿ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهۡدِي بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۚ وَلَوۡ أَشۡرَكُواْ لَحَبِطَ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 88]
﴿ذلك هدى الله يهدي به من يشاء من عباده ولو أشركوا لحبط﴾ [الأنعَام: 88]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir This is Allah's guidance, He guides thereby whom He pleases of His servants; and if they had set up others (with Him), certainly what they did would have become ineffectual for them |
| Mohammad Shafi This is Allah's guidance. He guides thereby whom He wills of His subjects. And if they worship other gods, certainly, what they did would become useless for them |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Such is the guidance of Allah wherewith He guideth whom He will of His bondmen. But if they had set up (for worship) aught beside Him, (all) that they did would have been vain |
