Quran with British translation - Surah At-Taghabun ayat 16 - التغَابُن - Page - Juz 28
﴿فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ مَا ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ وَٱسۡمَعُواْ وَأَطِيعُواْ وَأَنفِقُواْ خَيۡرٗا لِّأَنفُسِكُمۡۗ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفۡسِهِۦ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ ﴾
[التغَابُن: 16]
﴿فاتقوا الله ما استطعتم واسمعوا وأطيعوا وأنفقوا خيرا لأنفسكم ومن يوق شح﴾ [التغَابُن: 16]
Mohammad Habib Shakir Therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah as much as you can, and hear and obey and spend, it is better for your souls; and whoever is saved from the greediness of his soul, these it is that are the successful |
Mohammad Shafi So fear Allah as best you can! And listen to, and obey, and spend on what is good for you! And one who is protected against stinginess of one's own self — such are the ones truly successful |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall So keep your duty to Allah as best ye can, and listen, and obey, and spend; that is better for your souls. And whoso is saved from his own greed, such are the successful |

Safi Kaskas So be mindful of God as much as you can; hear and obey and be charitable, it is for your own good. He who is safe-guarded from his own greed, those are the successful ones |
