﴿قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَهۡلَكَنِيَ ٱللَّهُ وَمَن مَّعِيَ أَوۡ رَحِمَنَا فَمَن يُجِيرُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ مِنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ ﴾
[المُلك: 28]
﴿قل أرأيتم إن أهلكني الله ومن معي أو رحمنا فمن يجير الكافرين﴾ [المُلك: 28]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Say: Have you considered if Allah should destroy me and those with me-- rather He will have mercy on us; yet who will protect the unbelievers from a painful punishment |
| Mohammad Shafi Say, "Do you see, whether Allah causes me (Muhammad) and those with me to perish or He bestows mercy upon us, [it is His Will?]. But, then, who will protect those who suppress the Truth from a painful punishment!?"h |
