﴿وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ ثُمَّ صَوَّرۡنَٰكُمۡ ثُمَّ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسۡجُدُواْ لِأٓدَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ لَمۡ يَكُن مِّنَ ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 11]
﴿ولقد خلقناكم ثم صورناكم ثم قلنا للملائكة اسجدوا لآدم فسجدوا إلا إبليس﴾ [الأعرَاف: 11]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And certainly We created you, then We fashioned you, then We said to the angels: Prostrate to Adam. So they did prostrate except Iblis; he was not of those who prostrated |
| Mohammad Shafi And We did create you, then fashioned you, and then We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam." They then prostrated, but Iblees did not! He wouldn't be of those who prostrate |
