Quran with British translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 13 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 8
﴿قَالَ فَٱهۡبِطۡ مِنۡهَا فَمَا يَكُونُ لَكَ أَن تَتَكَبَّرَ فِيهَا فَٱخۡرُجۡ إِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰغِرِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 13]
﴿قال فاهبط منها فما يكون لك أن تتكبر فيها فاخرج إنك من﴾ [الأعرَاف: 13]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir He said: Then get forth from this (state), for it does not befit you to behave proudly therein. Go forth, therefore, surely you are of the abject ones |
| Mohammad Shafi Allah said, "Down you go then from here! You cannot behave arrogantly here. Get out! You are indeed of those who have belittled themselves |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall He said: Then go down hence! It is not for thee to show pride here, so go forth! Lo! thou art of those degraded |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani He said, “Then, get you down from here, it is not for you to show arrogance here. So, get out. You are one of the degraded |
