﴿وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفۡسٍ أَن تُؤۡمِنَ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَيَجۡعَلُ ٱلرِّجۡسَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ ﴾
[يُونس: 100]
﴿وما كان لنفس أن تؤمن إلا بإذن الله ويجعل الرجس على الذين﴾ [يُونس: 100]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al No soul can believe, except by the will of God, and He will place doubt on those who do not wish to understand |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad No one is to believe except with God’s permission (according to His laws), and He puts the filth on those who do not understand |
| Ali Quli Qarai No soul may have faith except by Allah’s leave, and He lays defilement on those who do not exercise their reason |
| Ali Unal It is not for any person to believe save by God’s leave. God sets those who do not use their reason in a mire of uncleanness |
| Hamid S Aziz It is not for any soul to believe save by the permission of Allah; He sets uncleanness on those who have no sense |
| John Medows Rodwell No soul can believe but by the permission of God: and he shall lay his wrath on those who will not understand |
| Literal And (it) was not to a self that she/it believes except with God`s permission, and He makes/puts the142obscenity/filth on those who do not reason/understand/comprehend |
