Quran with English translation - Surah Hud ayat 101 - هُود - Page - Juz 12
﴿وَمَا ظَلَمۡنَٰهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡۖ فَمَآ أَغۡنَتۡ عَنۡهُمۡ ءَالِهَتُهُمُ ٱلَّتِي يَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٖ لَّمَّا جَآءَ أَمۡرُ رَبِّكَۖ وَمَا زَادُوهُمۡ غَيۡرَ تَتۡبِيبٖ ﴾
[هُود: 101]
﴿وما ظلمناهم ولكن ظلموا أنفسهم فما أغنت عنهم آلهتهم التي يدعون من﴾ [هُود: 101]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al It was not Us Who wronged them, they wronged their own souls, and the deities other than God whom they invoked profited them nothing when there issued the decree of your Lord, nor did they add anything but perdition |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We did not wrong them, but they did wrong to themselves. Their gods that they call on other than God were of no use to them at all when your Master's order came, and they only added destruction to them |
| Ali Quli Qarai We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. When your Lord’s edict came, their gods whom they would invoke besides Allah were of no avail to them in any wise, and they did not increase them in anything but ruin |
| Ali Unal We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. When the judgment of your Lord came to pass, their deities which they used to invoke apart from God proved of no avail to them, and they increased them not save in ruin |
| Hamid S Aziz We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. Their gods on whom they called instead of Allah availed them naught when once the command of your Lord had come; they add to them naught save ruin |
| John Medows Rodwell We dealt not unfairly by them, but they dealt not fairly by themselves: and their gods on whom they called beside God availed them not at all when thy Lord's behest came to pass. They did but increase their ruin |
| Literal And We did not cause injustice/oppression to them, and but they caused injustice/oppression (to) themselves, so their gods which they call from other than God did not enrich/satisfy from a thing from them (their gods did not help them in any way or thing), when your Lord`s order/command came, and they did not increase them other than destruction/loss |
| Mir Anees Original And We did not do injustice to them but they did injustice to themselves; and their (presumed) gods whom they prayed to, besides Allah, were of no use to them in anything when the commandment of your Fosterer came to pass, and they did not add to them anything other than ruin |
