Quran with English translation - Surah Yusuf ayat 13 - يُوسُف - Page - Juz 12
﴿قَالَ إِنِّي لَيَحۡزُنُنِيٓ أَن تَذۡهَبُواْ بِهِۦ وَأَخَافُ أَن يَأۡكُلَهُ ٱلذِّئۡبُ وَأَنتُمۡ عَنۡهُ غَٰفِلُونَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 13]
﴿قال إني ليحزنني أن تذهبوا به وأخاف أن يأكله الذئب وأنتم عنه﴾ [يُوسُف: 13]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Jacob said, “Really it saddens me that you should take him away. I fear the wolf should devour him while you are not watching him.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad He said: indeed it saddens me if you take him away, and I am afraid that a wolf eats him while you are unaware of him |
| Ali Quli Qarai He said, ‘It really upsets me that you should take him away, and I fear the wolf may eat him while you are oblivious of him.’ |
| Ali Unal He (Jacob) said: "Indeed, it grieves me that you should take him with you, and I fear lest a wolf should devour him while you are inattentive of him |
| Hamid S Aziz Said he, "Verily, it grieves me that you should take him with you, for I fear lest the wolf devour him while you take no heed |
| John Medows Rodwell He said, "Verily, your taking him away will grieve me; and I fear lest while ye are heedless of him the wolf devour him |
| Literal He said: "That I (it) saddens me (E) that you go away with him, and I fear that the wolf eats him, and (while) you are from him ignoring/neglecting/disregarding |
| Mir Anees Original He said, “It grieves me that you should take him away and I fear that the wolf may eat him when you are heedless of him.” |
| Mir Aneesuddin He said, “It grieves me that you should take him away and I fear that the wolf may eat him when you are heedless of him.” |
