﴿وَأَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتِيهِمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرۡنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ قَرِيبٖ نُّجِبۡ دَعۡوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ ٱلرُّسُلَۗ أَوَلَمۡ تَكُونُوٓاْ أَقۡسَمۡتُم مِّن قَبۡلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٖ ﴾

﴿وأنذر الناس يوم يأتيهم العذاب فيقول الذين ظلموا ربنا أخرنا إلى أجل﴾ [إبراهِيم: 44]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al So warn humanity of the day when the punishment will reach them. Then the wrongdoers will say, “Our Lord, respite us for a short-term. We will answer Your call, and follow the messengers.” “What, had you not sworn before, to no end |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And warn the people of a day that the punishment comes to them, then those who did wrong say: our Master, postpone (the punishment) for us for a short period, so that we accept Your call and follow the messengers. (God says): did you not swear in the past that you have no ending |
| Ali Quli Qarai Warn the people of the day when the punishment will overtake them, whereat the wrongdoers will say, ‘Our Lord!
