Quran with English translation - Surah An-Nahl ayat 116 - النَّحل - Page - Juz 14
﴿وَلَا تَقُولُواْ لِمَا تَصِفُ أَلۡسِنَتُكُمُ ٱلۡكَذِبَ هَٰذَا حَلَٰلٞ وَهَٰذَا حَرَامٞ لِّتَفۡتَرُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفۡتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَ لَا يُفۡلِحُونَ ﴾
[النَّحل: 116]
﴿ولا تقولوا لما تصف ألسنتكم الكذب هذا حلال وهذا حرام لتفتروا على﴾ [النَّحل: 116]
Ali Quli Qarai Do not say, asserting falsely with your tongues, ‘This is lawful, and that is unlawful,’ attributing lies to Allah. Indeed those who attribute lies to Allah will not be felicitous |
Mir Aneesuddin And do not say regarding (anything) which is (based just on) the false utterances of your tongues, “This is lawful and this is unlawful,” so as to forge (a lie) against God, those who forge a lie against God will certainly not be successful |
