Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Isra’ ayat 62 - الإسرَاء - Page - Juz 15
﴿قَالَ أَرَءَيۡتَكَ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كَرَّمۡتَ عَلَيَّ لَئِنۡ أَخَّرۡتَنِ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ لَأَحۡتَنِكَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا ﴾
[الإسرَاء: 62]
﴿قال أرأيتك هذا الذي كرمت علي لئن أخرتني إلى يوم القيامة لأحتنكن﴾ [الإسرَاء: 62]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al He said, “See this one whom You have honored above me? If You give me respite until the Day of Accountability, I will surely bring his descendants under my sway, all but a few.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad He (Satan) said: what is Your idea, this one that You honored above me, if you give me time until the resurrection day, I shall gain mastery over his descendants except a few (of them) |
| Ali Quli Qarai Said he, ‘Do You see this one whom You have honoured above me? If You respite me until the Day of Resurrection, I will surely lay my yoke on his progeny, [all] except a few.’ |
| Ali Unal He said: "Do You see this that You have honored above me? Indeed, if You grant me respite till the Day of Resurrection, I will certainly bring his descendants under my sway, all but a few |
| Hamid S Aziz Said he, "Do you see this one whom Thou hast honoured above me? Verily, if Thou should reprieve me until the Day of Resurrection (or Judgment), I will of a surety utterly destroy his seed except a few |
| John Medows Rodwell Seest thou this man whom thou hast honoured above me? Verily, if thou respite me till the day of Resurrection, I will destroy his offspring, except a few |
| Literal He said: "Did I show You, that which you honoured on me, If (E), You delayed me, to the Resurrection Day, I will possess/take over (all) their descendants except little/few |
| Mir Anees Original He (Iblis) said, “Do you see the (person) whom You have honored above me? If You give me time till the day of resurrection I will definitely bring his descendants under my control (all) but a few.” |
| Mir Aneesuddin He (Iblis) said, “Do you see the (person) whom You have honored above me? If You give me time till the day of resurrection I will definitely bring his descendants under my control (all) but a few.” |
