Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Anbiya’ ayat 51 - الأنبيَاء - Page - Juz 17
﴿۞ وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ رُشۡدَهُۥ مِن قَبۡلُ وَكُنَّا بِهِۦ عَٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 51]
﴿ولقد آتينا إبراهيم رشده من قبل وكنا به عالمين﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 51]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al We gave Abraham moral authority and We knew him well |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We have certainly given Abraham his good sense in the past, and We knew him well |
| Ali Quli Qarai Certainly We had given Abraham his probity before, and We knew him |
| Ali Unal Indeed We had, before this, granted Abraham discretion and his particular consciousness of truth, and We knew him very well (in all aspects of his character) |
| Hamid S Aziz And We gave Abraham of old his Rectitude of conduct (or proper course, as distinct from Faith); for We were aware of him (his faith) |
| John Medows Rodwell Of old we gave unto Abraham his direction, for we knew him worthy |
| Literal And We had given Abraham his correct/right guidance from before, and We were with (about) him knowing |
| Mir Anees Original And earlier We gave Ibrahim (instructions to follow) the way (which was) right for him and We knew about him |
