Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Anbiya’ ayat 95 - الأنبيَاء - Page - Juz 17
﴿وَحَرَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَآ أَنَّهُمۡ لَا يَرۡجِعُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 95]
﴿وحرام على قرية أهلكناها أنهم لا يرجعون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 95]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But there is a ban on any population which We have caused to perish, that they will not return |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And it is forbidden for (people of) a town that We destroyed it (to return), indeed they do not return |
| Ali Quli Qarai It is forbidden for [the people of] any town that We have destroyed [to return to the world]: they shall not return |
| Ali Unal It is inconceivable that a community, the destruction of which We have decreed (because of their unbelief and irremediable sins), could return to faith, (nor a community which We destroyed should not come back to Us and then be returned to the world again so that they could believe and do good deeds) |
| Hamid S Aziz There is a ban upon any community which We have destroyed that they shall not return |
| John Medows Rodwell There is a ban on every city which we shall have destroyed, that they shall not rise again |
| Literal And forbidden on a village/urban city We made it die/destroyed it , that they do not return |
