﴿وَوَقَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَيۡهِم بِمَا ظَلَمُواْ فَهُمۡ لَا يَنطِقُونَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 85]
﴿ووقع القول عليهم بما ظلموا فهم لا ينطقون﴾ [النَّمل: 85]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And the word will be fulfilled against them, because of their wrongdoing, and they will be unable to speak |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And the word (of punishment) happens to them because of what they did wrong, and they do not speak (a word) |
| Ali Quli Qarai And the word [of judgement] shall fall upon them for their wrongdoing, and they will not speak |
| Ali Unal The word (of punishment) will be fulfilled against them because they did wrong (including especially associating partners with God). They will then not (be able to) speak (a single word of excuse and defense) |
| Hamid S Aziz And the Word shall be fulfiled concerning them because they did wrong, and they will not be able to speak |
| John Medows Rodwell And doom shall light upon them for their evil deeds, and nought shall they have to plead |
| Literal And the saying/word fell/landed on (to) them with/because (of) what they caused injustice/oppression, so they do not speak |
