Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Qasas ayat 84 - القَصَص - Page - Juz 20
﴿مَن جَآءَ بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُۥ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡهَاۖ وَمَن جَآءَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجۡزَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَمِلُواْ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ إِلَّا مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ ﴾
[القَصَص: 84]
﴿من جاء بالحسنة فله خير منها ومن جاء بالسيئة فلا يجزى الذين﴾ [القَصَص: 84]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al If any does right, the reward for him is better than his deed, but if any does wrong, the doers of wrong are only punished to the extent of what they do |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Anyone who comes with the good (deed) then he has a better (reward) than that, and anyone who comes with the bad (deed) then those who did bad deed are only punished for what they used to do |
| Ali Quli Qarai Whoever brings virtue shall receive [a reward] better than it, but whoever brings vice—those who commit misdeeds shall not be requited except for what they used to do |
| Ali Unal Whoever comes to God with a good deed will have better than it, and whoever comes with an evil deed – those who do evil deeds will not be recompensed save only for what they have done |
| Hamid S Aziz He who brings a good deed shall have better than it; and he who brings an evil deed - those who do evil deeds shall only be rewarded for that which they have done |
| John Medows Rodwell Whoso doeth good shall have reward beyond its merits, and whoso doeth evil, they who do evil shall be rewarded only as they shall have wrought |
| Literal Who came with the good/goodness, so to him better than it, and who came with the sin/crime, so those who made/did the sins/crimes will not be reimbursed except (for) what they were making/doing |
| Mir Anees Original One who comes for good, then for him there is (something) better than that, and one who comes with evil, then those who do evil will not be rewarded except for that which they used to do |
