Quran with English translation - Surah Al-‘Ankabut ayat 6 - العَنكبُوت - Page - Juz 20
﴿وَمَن جَٰهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَٰهِدُ لِنَفۡسِهِۦٓۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 6]
﴿ومن جاهد فإنما يجاهد لنفسه إن الله لغني عن العالمين﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 6]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And if any strive, they do so for their own souls, for God is free of all needs from all creation |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And anyone who tries (in God's way), indeed tries for himself. Indeed God doess not need any being |
Ali Quli Qarai Whoever strives, strives only for his own sake. Indeed Allah has no need of the creatures |
Ali Unal And whoever strives hard (against his carnal, evil-commanding soul and Satan to be a good Muslim and to resist all persecutions in God’s cause) strives for the good of his own soul only. Surely God is Self-Sufficient in absolute independence of all the worlds |
Hamid S Aziz And he who strives, strives only for his own soul; for verily, Allah is altogether Independent of (His) creatures (or the worlds) |
John Medows Rodwell Whoso maketh efforts for the faith, maketh them for his own good only. Verily God is rich enough to dispense with all creatures |
Literal And who struggled/exerted , so but he struggles/exerts for his self, that God (is) rich (E) from (not in need to) the creations all together/(universes) |
Mir Anees Original And whoever strives, he strives only for (the benefit of) his own soul. Allah is certainly Independent of the worlds |
