Quran with English translation - Surah Ar-Rum ayat 40 - الرُّوم - Page - Juz 21
﴿ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُحۡيِيكُمۡۖ هَلۡ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَفۡعَلُ مِن ذَٰلِكُم مِّن شَيۡءٖۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ ﴾
[الرُّوم: 40]
﴿الله الذي خلقكم ثم رزقكم ثم يميتكم ثم يحييكم هل من شركائكم﴾ [الرُّوم: 40]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al It is God Who has created you. Further, He has provided for your sustenance, then He will cause you to die, and again He will give you life. Are there any of your partners that can do any one of these things? Glory be to Him and high is He above the partners they attribute to Him |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad God is the One who created you, then provided for you, then makes you die, then makes you live. Is there any of your partners (of God) who can do any of those things? God is flawless and is above what they associate (with Him) |
| Ali Quli Qarai It is Allah who created you and then He provided for you, then He makes you die, then He will bring you to life. Is there anyone among your ‘partners’ who does anything of that kind? Immaculate is He and exalted above [having] any partners that they ascribe [to Him] |
| Ali Unal God is He Who creates you, then He sustains you (by providing for you), and then He causes you to die and then He will bring you to life again. Are there any among the partners you associate (with God) that do anything of that? All-Glorified He is, and infinitely Exalted above what they associate (with Him) |
| Hamid S Aziz Allah is He Who created you, then gave you sustenance, then He causes you to die, then brings you to life. Is there any of your associate-gods who does aught of it? Glory be to Him, and exalted be He above what they associate (with Him) |
| John Medows Rodwell It is God who created you - then fed you - then will cause you to die - then will make you alive. Is there any of your companion-gods who can do aught of these things? Praise be to Him! and far be He exalted above the gods they join with Him |
| Literal God (is) who created you, then He provided for you, then He makes you die, then He revives/makes you alive, are (there) from your partners (with God) who makes/does from that from a thing? His praise/glory and (He is) high, mighty, exalted and dignified about what they share/make partners (with Him) |
| Mir Anees Original It is Allah Who created you then provided for you, then He causes you to die then He will bring to life. Is there anyone of your (presumed) partners (of Allah) who does any of those things? Glory be Him and the Exalted be He above that which they associate (with Him) as partners |
