Quran with English translation - Surah Saba’ ayat 32 - سَبإ - Page - Juz 22
﴿قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُوٓاْ أَنَحۡنُ صَدَدۡنَٰكُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ بَعۡدَ إِذۡ جَآءَكُمۖ بَلۡ كُنتُم مُّجۡرِمِينَ ﴾
[سَبإ: 32]
﴿قال الذين استكبروا للذين استضعفوا أنحن صددناكم عن الهدى بعد إذ جاءكم﴾ [سَبإ: 32]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al The arrogant ones will say to those who had been oppressed, “Was it we who kept you back from guidance after it reached you? No, rather it was you who transgressed.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Those who were arrogant say to those who were weak: did we block you from the guidance after it came to you? No, but you were guilty |
| Ali Quli Qarai Those who were arrogant will say to those who were abased, ‘Did we keep you from guidance after it had come to you? No, you were guilty [yourselves].’ |
| Ali Unal The arrogant oppressors retort to those who were oppressed: "What! did we (forcibly) bar you from following the guidance after it had reached you? No, but you yourselves were the criminals (committed to accumulating sins) |
| Hamid S Aziz Those who were proud shall say to those who were deemed weak (or despised), "Did we turn you away from the guidance after it had come to you? Nay, you (yourselves) were guilty |
| John Medows Rodwell Then shall the mighty ones say to the weak, "What! was it we who turned you aside from the guidance which had reached you? Nay, but ye acted wickedly yourselves |
| Literal Those who were arrogant said to those who were weakened: "Did we prevent/obstruct you from the guidance after when (it) came to you? But you were criminals/sinners |
| Mir Anees Original Those who were considered great will say to those who were considered weak, “Did we turn you away from the guidance after it had come to you? No, you were criminals.” |
