﴿إِنَّ ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ يُخَٰدِعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَهُوَ خَٰدِعُهُمۡ وَإِذَا قَامُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ قَامُواْ كُسَالَىٰ يُرَآءُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ وَلَا يَذۡكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا ﴾
[النِّسَاء: 142]
﴿إن المنافقين يخادعون الله وهو خادعهم وإذا قاموا إلى الصلاة قاموا كسالى﴾ [النِّسَاء: 142]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al The hypocrites think they are over-reaching God, but He will over-reach them. When they stand up for prayer, they stand without earnestness, only to be seen by people. And little do they hold God in remembrance |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Indeed the hypocrites (think that they) trick God, while He tricks them, and when they perform the mandatory prayer they perform it lazily to be seen by the people and they seldom remember God |
