[غَافِر: 34]

Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “And to you, there came Joseph in times gone by, with clear signs, but you did not cease to doubt the mission for which he had come. Then when he died you said, ‘No messenger will God send after him.’ So God leaves to stray those who transgress and live in doubt |

Ali Quli Qarai Certainly Joseph brought you manifest proofs earlier, but you continued to remain in doubt concerning what he had brought you. When he died, you said, ‘‘Allah will never send any apostle after him.’’ That is how Allah leads astray those who are unrestrained and skeptical |
Ali Unal And (reflect that) Joseph brought to you the manifest truths before, but you never ceased to doubt as to what he brought you. But when he finally died, you said that God would no longer send a Messenger after him. Thus God leads astray one who (transgressing all bounds) is wasteful (of his God-given faculties), persistently doubting (without good reason) – |
Hamid S Aziz And verily Joseph came to you before with clear arguments, yet you ceased not to be in doubt as to what he brought; until when he died, you said, ´Allah will never raise a messenger after him.´ Thus does Allah cause him to err who is extravaga |
John Medows Rodwell Moreover, Joseph had come to you before with clear tokens, but ye ceased not to doubt of the message with which he came to you, until when he died, ye said, 'God will by no means raise up an apostle after him.' " Thus God misleadeth him who is the transgressor, the doubter |
Literal And Joseph had come to you from before with the evidences, so you are still continuing in doubt/suspicion from what he came to you with it, until when he perished/died, you said: `God will never/not send from after him a messenger.` as/like that God misguides whom He is (a) waster/extravagator , doubtful/suspicious |
Mir Anees Original And Yusuf had come to you earlier with clear proofs, but you did not cease to be in doubt about that with which he came, until when he died you said: Allah will never raise a messenger after him. Thus does Allah leave to stray, him who is an extravagant doubter |
Mir Aneesuddin And Joseph had come to you earlier with clear proofs, but you did not cease to be in doubt about that with which he came, until when he died you said: God will never raise a messenger after him. Thus does God leave to stray, him who is an extravagant doubter |
