Quran with English translation - Surah Fussilat ayat 49 - فُصِّلَت - Page - Juz 25
﴿لَّا يَسۡـَٔمُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مِن دُعَآءِ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ وَإِن مَّسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَيَـُٔوسٞ قَنُوطٞ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 49]
﴿لا يسأم الإنسان من دعاء الخير وإن مسه الشر فيئوس قنوط﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 49]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Human beings do not tire of asking for good, but if harm touches them, they give up all hope, lost in despair |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad The human being does not get tired of praying for the good (things), but if the badness touches him then he becomes hopeless and discouraged |
Ali Quli Qarai Man is never wearied of supplicating for good, and should any ill befall him, he becomes hopeless and despondent |
Ali Unal Human never tires of asking for (what he presumes is) his own good, but if evil befalls him, then he gives up all hope and loses heart |
Hamid S Aziz Man is never tired of praying for good, and if evil touch him, then he is despairing, hopeless |
