Quran with English translation - Surah Az-Zukhruf ayat 48 - الزُّخرُف - Page - Juz 25
﴿وَمَا نُرِيهِم مِّنۡ ءَايَةٍ إِلَّا هِيَ أَكۡبَرُ مِنۡ أُخۡتِهَاۖ وَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ ﴾
[الزُّخرُف: 48]
﴿وما نريهم من آية إلا هي أكبر من أختها وأخذناهم بالعذاب لعلهم﴾ [الزُّخرُف: 48]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al We showed them sign after sign, each greater than the other, and We seized them with punishment, in order that they might turn to Us |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We did not show them any miracle unless it was bigger than its sister (the one before it). And We took them with the punishment so that they may return |
| Ali Quli Qarai We did not show them a sign but it was greater than the other, and We visited on them punishment so that they might come back |
| Ali Unal We displayed to them sign after sign, each greater than the other, and We seized them with (diverse forms of) punishment so that they might turn back (from the way they followed) |
| Hamid S Aziz And every sign that We showed them was greater than its predecessor, and We overtook them with chastisement that they may turn (to Us) |

| Literal And We do not show them/make them understand from a verse/evidence/sign except (that) it is greater than its sister, and We took/punished them with the torture, maybe/perhaps they return |
