Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Jathiyah ayat 9 - الجاثِية - Page - Juz 25
﴿وَإِذَا عَلِمَ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا شَيۡـًٔا ٱتَّخَذَهَا هُزُوًاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مُّهِينٞ ﴾
[الجاثِية: 9]
﴿وإذا علم من آياتنا شيئا اتخذها هزوا أولئك لهم عذاب مهين﴾ [الجاثِية: 9]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And when he learns something of Our signs, he takes them without regard, for them there will be a crushing penalty |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And when he learns something from Our signs, he takes it as a joke. They have a humiliating punishment |
| Ali Quli Qarai Should he learn anything about Our signs, he takes them in derision. For such there is a humiliating punishment |
| Ali Unal When he has come to some knowledge of Our signs (whether in the universe or in the Qur’an), he takes them in mockery. For such there is a humiliating punishment |
| Hamid S Aziz And when he comes to know of any of Our revelations, he takes it for a jest; these it is that shall have abasing doom |
| John Medows Rodwell And when he becometh acquainted with any of our signs he turneth them into ridicule. These! a shameful punishment for them |
| Literal And if he knew a thing from Our evidences/verses he took it mockingly/making fun, those for them (is) a humiliating/disgracing torture |
