Quran with English translation - Surah Muhammad ayat 28 - مُحمد - Page - Juz 26
﴿ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمُ ٱتَّبَعُواْ مَآ أَسۡخَطَ ٱللَّهَ وَكَرِهُواْ رِضۡوَٰنَهُۥ فَأَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ ﴾
[مُحمد: 28]
﴿ذلك بأنهم اتبعوا ما أسخط الله وكرهوا رضوانه فأحبط أعمالهم﴾ [مُحمد: 28]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al This is because they followed that which deserved the punishment of God, and they hated God's blessings, so He made their deeds of no effect |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad That is because they followed that which angered God and they disliked His pleasure, so He made their works useless |
Ali Quli Qarai That, because they pursued what displeased Allah, and loathed His pleasure. So He has made their works fail |
Ali Unal This is because they have followed what incurs God’s wrath (condemnation), and are averse to what pleases Him, and so He has caused all their (previous good) deeds to go to waste |
Hamid S Aziz That is because they follow what is displeasing to Allah and are averse to His pleasure, therefore, He has made null their deeds |
John Medows Rodwell This - because they follow that which angereth God, and abhor what pleaseth Him: therefore will He make their works fruitless |
Literal That (is) with that they followed what angered/dissatisfied God, and they hated His acceptance/satisfaction , so He wasted/invalidated their deeds |
Mir Anees Original That is because, they followed that which displeased Allah and disliked pleasing Him, therefore He made their deeds fruitless |
