Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Ma’idah ayat 29 - المَائدة - Page - Juz 6
﴿إِنِّيٓ أُرِيدُ أَن تَبُوٓأَ بِإِثۡمِي وَإِثۡمِكَ فَتَكُونَ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَٰٓؤُاْ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 29]
﴿إني أريد أن تبوء بإثمي وإثمك فتكون من أصحاب النار وذلك جزاء﴾ [المَائدة: 29]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “For me, I intend to let you draw on yourself my sin, as well as yours, for you will be among the companions of the fire, and that is the reward for those who do wrong.” |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad I want you to get my sin and your sin, so you will be among inhabitants of the fire, and that is punishment of the wrongdoers |
Ali Quli Qarai I desire that you earn [the burden of] my sin and your sin, to become one of the inmates of the Fire, and such is the requital of the wrongdoers.’ |
Ali Unal (In refusing to fight you and remembering to fear God) I desire indeed (to warn you) that you will bear the burden of my sin (were I to take part in fighting you) and your own sin (for seeking to kill me) and so you will be among the companions of the Fire. For that is the recompense of wrongdoers |
Hamid S Aziz Verily, I would rather that you draw upon yourself my sin and yours, and become of the fellows of the Fire, for that is the reward of the evil-doer (or unjust) |
John Medows Rodwell Yea, rather would I that thou shouldest bear my sin and thine own sin, and that thou become an inmate of the Fire: for that is the recompense of the unjust doers |
