﴿فَنَادَوۡاْ صَاحِبَهُمۡ فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَ ﴾
[القَمَر: 29]
﴿فنادوا صاحبهم فتعاطى فعقر﴾ [القَمَر: 29]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al But they called to their companion, and he took a sword in hand, and hamstrung her |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad But they called their companion, and he took (a knife) and killed (her) |
| Ali Quli Qarai But they called their companion, and he took [a knife] and hamstrung [her] |
| Ali Unal But (without observing the turn) they (schemed to slaughter the she-camel and) called their comrade (one of the nine ring-leaders); and so he ventured (upon the evil deed), and slaughtered her cruelly |
| Hamid S Aziz But they called their companion, who took (the sword) and hamstrung her |

| Literal So they called their companion/friend, so he stood on his toes and extended his hands to take , so he wounded/slaughtered/made infertile |
