But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to - Surah Al-Waqi‘ah ayat 85 in English

﴿وَنَحۡنُ أَقۡرَبُ إِلَيۡهِ مِنكُمۡ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُبۡصِرُونَ ﴾
[الوَاقِعة: 85]

But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page]

﴿ونحن أقرب إليه منكم ولكن لا تبصرون﴾ [الوَاقِعة: 85]
