Quran with English translation - Surah Al-An‘am ayat 60 - الأنعَام - Page - Juz 7
﴿وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم بِٱلَّيۡلِ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا جَرَحۡتُم بِٱلنَّهَارِ ثُمَّ يَبۡعَثُكُمۡ فِيهِ لِيُقۡضَىٰٓ أَجَلٞ مُّسَمّٗىۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡهِ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 60]
﴿وهو الذي يتوفاكم بالليل ويعلم ما جرحتم بالنهار ثم يبعثكم فيه ليقضى﴾ [الأنعَام: 60]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al It is He Who takes your souls by night, and has knowledge of all that you have done by day. And by day, He raises you up again, that a term appointed is fulfilled. In the end, to Him will be your return, and then will He show you the truth of all that you did |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad He is the One who takes you at night (during sleep) and knows what you did during the day, then He raises you in it until a limited time is finished, then your return is to Him, then He informs you of what you were doing |
| Ali Quli Qarai It is He who takes your souls by night, and He knows what you do by day, then He reanimates you therein so that a specified term may be completed. Then to Him will be your return, whereat He will inform you concerning what you used to do |
| Ali Unal He it is Who recalls your souls at night (while you sleep, a state comparable to death), and He knows what You already worked in the daytime. Then He raises you to life therein (the next daytime) so that the term appointed by Him is fulfilled. (He causes you to die after the completion of this term, and, just as He raises you again to life each day after sleep, He resurrects you from that death when the appointed time is due.) Your final return is to Him; and then He will make you understand what you were doing (and call you to account for it) |
