Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Jumu‘ah ayat 6 - الجُمعَة - Page - Juz 28
﴿قُلۡ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُوٓاْ إِن زَعَمۡتُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ لِلَّهِ مِن دُونِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُاْ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ ﴾
[الجُمعَة: 6]
﴿قل ياأيها الذين هادوا إن زعمتم أنكم أولياء لله من دون الناس﴾ [الجُمعَة: 6]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Say, “O you who stand on Judaism, if you think that you are friends to God to the exclusion of others then express your desire for death, if you are truthful.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Say: you who are Jewish, if you claim that you are God's friend (and His chosen ones) and not other people, then wish for the death (to go to paradise sooner) if you are truthful |
| Ali Quli Qarai Say, ‘O Jews! If you claim that you are Allah’s favourites, to the exclusion of other people, then long for death, should you be truthful.’ |
| Ali Unal Say: "O you who are Jews! If you claim that you are the favorites of God to the exclusion of all other people, then wish for death, if you are truthful (in your claim) |
| Hamid S Aziz Say, "O you who are Jews, if you think that you are the favourites of Allah to the exclusion of other people, then invoke death if you are truthful |
| John Medows Rodwell SAY: O ye Jews, if ye profess that ye rather than other men are the friends of God, then wish for death if ye are men of truth |
| Literal Say: "You, you those who repented/guided/Jews, if you claimed/purorted that you are followers/ supporters/allies to God from other than the people, so wish/desire the death/ lifelessness if you were truthful |
| Mir Anees Original Say, “O you who are Jews ! if you claim that you are the friends of Allah to the exclusion of other human beings, then desire for death, if you are truthful.” |
| Mir Aneesuddin Say, “O you who are Jews ! if you claim that you are the friends of God to the exclusion of other human beings, then desire for death, if you are truthful.” |
