Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Qalam ayat 17 - القَلَم - Page - Juz 29
﴿إِنَّا بَلَوۡنَٰهُمۡ كَمَا بَلَوۡنَآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ إِذۡ أَقۡسَمُواْ لَيَصۡرِمُنَّهَا مُصۡبِحِينَ ﴾
[القَلَم: 17]
﴿إنا بلوناهم كما بلونا أصحاب الجنة إذ أقسموا ليصرمنها مصبحين﴾ [القَلَم: 17]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Indeed We have tried them as We tried the people of the farm-orchard, when they decided to gather the fruits in the morning |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Indeed We test them as We tested the owners of the garden when they swore that they shall pick it in the morning |
| Ali Quli Qarai Indeed we have tested them just as We tested the People of the Garden when they vowed they would gather its fruit at dawn |
| Ali Unal For sure We try them (with drought as they rely on their wealth and children We have granted them and reject Our call), just as We tried the owners of the garden. They swore that they would assuredly harvest its produce the next day |
| Hamid S Aziz Surely We will try them as We tried the people of the garden, when they resolved to cut the produce in the morning |
| John Medows Rodwell Verily, we have proved them (the Meccans) as we proved the owners of the garden, when they swore that at morn they would cut its fruits |
