﴿وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّآ أَن لَّن نُّعۡجِزَ ٱللَّهَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَن نُّعۡجِزَهُۥ هَرَبٗا ﴾
[الجِن: 12]
﴿وأنا ظننا أن لن نعجز الله في الأرض ولن نعجزه هربا﴾ [الجِن: 12]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “ ‘But we know that by no means can we stop God throughout the earth, nor can we stop Him by flight |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And that we know that we will never incapacitate God on the earth, and we will never incapacitate Him by running away |
| Ali Quli Qarai We know that we cannot frustrate Allah on the earth, nor can we frustrate Him by fleeing |
| Ali Unal ‘We have come to know that we can by no means frustrate God (in His will on the earth), nor can we frustrate Him by flight |
| Hamid S Aziz But we know that we cannot escape (or frustrate) Allah in the earth, nor can we escape (or frustrate) Him by flight |
| John Medows Rodwell And verily we thought that no one could weaken God on earth, neither could we escape from him by flight |
| Literal And that we, we thought/assumed that (E) we will never/not disable/frustrate God in the earth/Planet Earth, and we will never/not disable/frustrate Him (by) escaping/fleeing |
