Quran with English translation - Surah At-Taubah ayat 80 - التوبَة - Page - Juz 10
﴿ٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ أَوۡ لَا تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ إِن تَسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ سَبۡعِينَ مَرَّةٗ فَلَن يَغۡفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَفَرُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 80]
﴿استغفر لهم أو لا تستغفر لهم إن تستغفر لهم سبعين مرة فلن﴾ [التوبَة: 80]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Whether you ask for their forgiveness or not. Even if you ask seventy times for their forgiveness, God will not forgive them, because they have rejected God and His messenger, and God does not guide those who are rebellious |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Whether you (Muhammad) ask forgiveness for them or you do not ask forgiveness for them, even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times, God will never forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in God and His messenger, and God does not guide the disobedient people |
| Ali Quli Qarai Whether you plead forgiveness for them or do not plead forgiveness for them, even if you plead forgiveness for them seventy times, Allah shall never forgive them because they defied Allah and His Apostle; and Allah does not guide the transgressing lot |
| Ali Unal Whether you (O Messenger) pray for their forgiveness or do not pray for their forgiveness, even if you pray for their forgiveness seventy times, God will not forgive them. That is because they disbelieve in God and His Messenger. God will not guide the transgressing people |

| John Medows Rodwell Ask thou forgiveness for them, or ask it not, it will be the same. If thou ask forgiveness for them seventy times, God will by no means forgive them. This, for that they believe not in God and His Apostle! And God guideth not the ungodly people |
